DCW Builds is a costume and prop maker from the Chicago area and has been cosplaying officially since 2015 but has been making props since 2008. He is a four-time competitor in the Crown Championships of Cosplay. What started as cardboard and duct tape keyblades has expanded into full body armors of foam and 3D printed pieces and more.

He is a fan of the cosplay community and the friendship that it brings. DCWbuilds believes that anyone can cosplay, all they must do is start the journey and learn along the way.
